I/We understand . . .
|
1. |
Siberian Huskies
have a VERY high prey drive.
|
|
2. |
Siberian Huskies
may chase, maim and kill cats, birds, squirrels,
rabbits, and even small toy breed dogs.
|
|
3. |
MOST Siberian
Huskies are NOT cat friendly.
|
|
4. |
Adopt A
Husky will NOT place a Siberian in a cat home,
UNLESS the dog tests to be cat friendly OR the
adopters have a plan in place to keep the cat
and Siberian separate AT ALL TIMES.
|
|
5. |
Adopt A
Husky will not place a dog under the age of one
year in a cat home. While you might think
placing a puppy with a cat will make the puppy
“learn” to tolerate the cat, there is no
guarantee that the puppy will not grow up to be
cat aggressive.
|
|
6. |
Adopt A Husky
OCCASIONALLY will rescue a Siberian that is cat
friendly, but there might be a significant wait
after the application and approval process before
one that matches your home becomes available. This
wait could even be several months.
|
|
7. |
Adopt A Husky
cannot guarantee a rescued dog that tests to be cat
friendly, will stay cat friendly. NO MATTER WHAT,
the dog and cat must always be SUPERVISED. When
supervision is not possible, the animals should be
CONFINED IN SEPARATE AREAS.

Yes, we read and
understand the above and want
to continue with the application process.
No, we do not
want to continue with the application process.
