Sex:  Male

Color:  White

Eye Color:  Brown

Age:  1-2 years old

ID Number:

Approximate Weight:  45 lbs.

Good With Dogs:  Honestly, Frosty would probably be best as an only dog.

Good With Cats:  No

Crate Trained:  Yes

Housebroken:  Yes

Energy Level:  Medium to High-he is not crazy energy but he is still a young dog and pretty outgoing.

Good With Kids:  Yes, older.  He is still in that running around jumping stage so no little ones that might get knocked down.

Training:  He knows the basics

Comments:  Frosty is a fun boy.  He came to us in what we call the butthead teenager phase where he felt he owned the world.  But after a little structure and routine, he really settled down.  He is not a dominant dog that needs to be in charge - he actually thrives on rules and routine and prefers the humans to be in charge.  But if they are not, he’ll default to that role so we are looking for a more experienced home for him.

Frosty is in a foster home with other dogs and does OK with them, but he does not like any pushy or dominant dogs.  In getting to know him, we really feel that he would be best, for now, as an only dog.

Frosty would be a great dog for an active home.  Biking, jogging, perhaps even sledding might be a great outlet for this young boy.

I want to apply to adopt a dog!

All dogs are:

  • spayed or neutered prior to adoption
  • evaluated for temperament and trainability
  • up to date on ALL shots, including Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • heartworm tested and on preventative year-round
  • micro-chipped for identification
