Comments:  Mohawk is a strikingly handsome boy with an equally gorgeous personality to match.  He has what is called an Agouti coat, which means his coloring extends over most of his body and his hair is banded.  It is a rare Siberian pattern and with his size, it’s possible he has some other breed somewhere in his genetics.  He has a bit of an Inuit look to him.

Mohawk is great with other dogs.  He is pretty laid back and every dog he met was a tail wag and a “hey, want to be friends” kind of meeting.  Judging from his interest in felines, no cats or small dogs in his home, though.  We have noticed he is a bit head shy when a stranger goes to pet him from above, so for that reason, we think only older kids in his home would be best.

I want to apply to adopt a dog!

All dogs are:

  • spayed or neutered prior to adoption
  • evaluated for temperament and trainability
  • up to date on ALL shots, including Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • heartworm tested and on preventative year-round
  • micro-chipped for identification
