Comments: Toby and Luna came in to us together when their owner died suddenly. They were very much loved and the community came together to get them to rescue. We had been told they were siblings, but our vet does think Luna is a bit older than Toby so not sure about that. Perhaps from different litters? They do have similar builds and personalities.
We’ve had both dogs at an event this Fall and they did great with kids. We are really hoping to keep these two together - they’ve been together all their lives and they are all they have given their owner, who adored them, passed sadly and suddenly. We think they will be best to be the only dogs in the home. They are in a foster home with other dogs and are fine being around them, but when they go to play together, Toby and Luna bond together and the odd dog out can be intimidated. So best they are the only two in their home.
We know it’s a tough thing to ask someone to adopt two together. We know it will take some time to find them a home together, but that is in their best interest, so that is what we are going to do. If you agree that two are better than one, apply for this pair now.
