Comments: Brytta was transferred to us from another local rescue, she traveled up from Mississippi and saw snow for her first time this year. She was stressed after arriving from her long trip but with a little love and quiet time she is really starting to open up. She does well with my other foster, Oden, a 7-year-old male. Brytta loves to cuddle, snuggle with us and loves attention. She will sit as long is she is being scratched. She is good left uncrated alone and is not a chewer. She has the simple commands down but would benefit from extended obedience training. She walks well on a leash and loves a walk and exercise of most any kind. She does counter surf so she needs watching in the kitchen. Small dogs and younger kids would need a controlled setting and monitor her closely as I just do not know her responses in all situations (but she usually surprises me). She loved the attention and people at Thanksgiving and handled herself very well. She can be a mouther so we are working on that. She has become a very easy husky to foster and would make a wonderful addition to a family with lots of love and exercise and I am sure there are many more surprises in store. Brytta is currently on a diet to drop a few pounds but we suspect she has a touch of Mal in her, she has a big frame.
