  Keller

Sex:  Male

Color:  Black & White

Age:  1-1/2 years (approx.)

ID Number:  2850

Approximate Weight:  50 lbs.

Good With Dogs:  Yes

Good With Cats:  Probably not

Crate Trained:  Yes

Housebroken:  Mostly, but still needs work

Energy Level:  High

Good With Kids:  Yes

Training:  Knows lots of tricks.  Sit, lay down, shake, give high 5’s.  He knows the word no and will respond well to that.  But he is still a typical young husky that will need more training.

Comments:  Keller is a very sweet and cuddly husky.   Being young, he is full of energy.  He loves to play with other dogs but plays a little husky ruff so is still learning his doggie manners with other breeds.   Keller came from animal control so not much is known about his previous life.  He had quite a few tricks he knew and is very friendly to everyone including children so he must have had a family that worked with him.  He walks very well on leash and is not a huge puller.  When he has had enough exercise he is a great cuddle bug and will sleep on the bed quietly all night.  He is crated during the day when his foster family is not home.  He loves other dogs but could be a solo dog or paired with a strong female dog that tolerates young dogs.

I want to apply to adopt a dog!

All dogs are:

  • spayed or neutered prior to adoption
  • evaluated for temperament and trainability
  • up to date on ALL shots, including Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • heartworm tested and on preventative year-round
  • micro-chipped for identification
