Training:   Morris does well on a leash. He is currently fine-tuning his manners. He knows sit and comes when called.

Comments:  Morris was brought to AAHI as an unclaimed stray. He is very people oriented and is eager to please his human. When playing outside, he likes to “check-in” with you by running up to you and turning his body into your legs, snuggle close, get a little pet, and go play some more!
He is housebroken. He does very well in his [wire] kennel and goes in willingly. No fuss here!
Morris loves to play with his housemate and sometimes plays a little rough. When he needs to be reminded by his pack members, he obliges. He appears to respect the alpha in the pack.
Morris has been exposed to chickens, parrots, and a myriad of forest critters while in foster care. While he has not shown aggression to them, however he is very curious about them.
Morris is a smart, comical, and high energy boy. He does relax after he gets his energy out; but if you are looking for a couch potato, look elsewhere! He wants to be active with you. He enjoys his walks, running in the fenced yard, and playing with his housemates.  He is discovering his “talking voice;” which is generally heard when he is pouting over something. Overall he is quiet.  Even though he is higher energy,  a firm, consistent, first time husky owner may fare well with him. General dog experience would be recommended.

I want to apply to adopt a dog!

All dogs are:
