Comments:  Hi! I’m Shiro I’m really a great gal, eager to please humans and my foster siblings. I do prefer to be with humans, and not be left alone. I suffer from this thing called separation anxiety (that’s what the humans say). I have free range of the home with puzzle toys and my kong left out to keep me busy when my foster parents leave the home. I do fairly well if I have things to keep me busy. On top of the puzzle toys I receive an anti-anxiety drug about an hour before my foster parents leave the home (this drug makes me feel happy and not scared when I’m all alone). I am partially house trained. I will not go to the bathroom in the home when you are home, but however when I’m left alone during the work day I have accidents. They pull the water when I’m left alone, so that helps me control my bladder. At night time I sleep in my Kennel in my foster parent’s room. They are determined to get me crate trained. I like sleeping in my kennel at night. Mostly I’m just the most comfortable and relaxed to have the other dogs and the humans in the same room as me. If you look past my flaws, I’m truly a great gal. I enjoy walks, playing fetch (yes I’m a husky who plays fetch) I enjoy rough housing with my foster siblings. I like to stay close to the humans in the house so if you work from home or are retired that would be ideal. I really enjoy just pleasing humans and making them happy. When people are around I’m great at entertaining myself. I share food nicely and take it nicely out of your hand. I will always share my toys. I’m really just looking for my forever home with someone who I can spend most of the day with.

I want to apply to adopt a dog!

All dogs are:

  • spayed or neutered prior to adoption
  • evaluated for temperament and trainability
  • up to date on ALL shots, including Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • heartworm tested and on preventative year-round
  • micro-chipped for identification
