Wrigley is quite the character! He is a very stubborn boy,
absolutely convinced that his way is the right way. But he
is also a bit insecure about new humans and so we have an
interesting dynamic with these two opposing traits. Wrigley
just needs time to feel comfortable in a home and then his
true Siberian personality comes out. He just loves his
humans once he trusts them-adores pets and can be vocal
about demanding attention. But as much as he loves his
people, he still feels his way is the right way and is not
shy about telling you about it!
Because new Siberian owners would be putty in his hands,
we are going to require a Siberian experienced home with him.
And no kids-he will not take direction from kids.
He gets along just fine with other dogs-he is living with
four other Siberians in his foster home-but he tends to just
ignore other dogs in favor of spending time with his people
and his foster home thinks he would thrive as an only dog.
He walks pretty well on a leash, is crate trained and
housebroken and has some basic obedience down pat. He is
also a mellow kind of dog-low key energy is the norm for
him.
If you have had a Siberian before and know they can be
strong willed, then come meet Wrigley! |
