Shawnee is a great young dog who came in to rescue with very little training.  He is learning all the rules in his foster home, but he will need someone with husky experience to continue this training.  If allowed, he would try to get his way.  And with that sweet face, it is easy to give in!  Shawnee really loves his family/people.  He is a social outgoing boy.  In his foster home now he lives with a male and female Siberian and gets along well with them, but he’d probably drive a senior dog a bit nuts with his higher energy.  Shawnee is crate trained but has some separation anxiety.  His ideal family is home more than they are gone.  He does not like long separations from his people.

We will require an obedience course with Shawnee.  He knows all the basic commands and walks pretty well on a leash, but he does get excited when he sees other dogs and people.  An obedience course will continue this training and help bring out the good boy Shawnee is.  Come meet him!
