Comments: Quincy at 18 mos. has only known the struggle for his basic necessities. Coming into rescue was a new experience for him and a turning point in his short life. Under his brave exterior was a shy little boy yearning to have what the other dogs had - a forever home, plentiful food, and unconditional love. In his foster home, Quincy has proven himself an adept learner who is coming out of his shell to play with his new pack members and demonstrate the characteristic Siberian Husky zest for life. His foster family is thrilled at the changes in him in the brief time he has been with them and is now trying to teach him basic obedience (come, sit, down, etc.), table manners, and housetraining. With his quick mind, he has already learned crate training, some leash manners, and how to sit in front of doors to go outside. Judging by his photos, he is well on his way to learning the rest and now need his forever home. Quincy is looking for someone who understands him and doesn't mind playing or exercising with him, but he never wants to be left to fend for himself again! So, if you are looking for a best friend to share your life, Quincy would love to meet you and woo you into taking him to his forever home.

I want to apply to adopt a dog now.

All dogs are:

  • evaluated for temperament and trainability
  • up to date on ALL shots, including Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • heartworm tested and on preventative year-round
  • micro-chipped for identification
