Update....
This past week, she had her surgery at the Buffalo Grove Specialty Center and is now at home recovering. This is her latest picture showing just how extensive the surgery was..
Another Update (1/11/12)
Reatta’s stitches have been removed and she continues to make progress. The surgeon is hopeful that he removed all the infected tissue. It’s going on 3 weeks since her surgery and there has been no more discharge which is a very good sign. We’re hoping when she meets with the surgeon next week that she will be given a clean bill of health. Paws crossed!!
Her medical bills are now over $6000, but the most important part is that she appears to be on the road to a full recovery and hopefully a happy life ahead.
